The Challenge.

Tourism brands nowadays live or die online. The whole consumer journey from finding out about destinations via friend's Instagram or Facebook to booking an Airb'n'b happens online. Without immersive video, photographic and article content to populate this journey, you will fail. We had to build an online presence for IAE fast. It was a vast undertaking.

The Solution.

Working with production houses, photographers, illustrators and even museum researchers, I CD'ed as team Sheena Cattigan and Maeve Heslin,  created and curated hundreds of pieces of film, cinemagraphs, illustrations, and articles. These then populated the IAE website collectively, and were broken down  individually to populate Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and other platforms. This almost publishing model requires a mindset shift. And it worked.

THE RESULTS

Ireland's Ancient East launched successfully,  establishing as a worthy partner to the Wild Atlantic Way.  the work is being added to all the time. Work like the Dunbrody film created by Windmill is a multi award winner. This is a 10 year strategy set to continue..

Hundreds of pieces of film, photography, cinema-graphs, illustrations, articles and interactive pieces were created, commissioned and curated to populate IAE's digital strategy.

They included the likes of this multi-awarded piece for the Dunbrody famine ship..
